Nah, I think CPC is viewing this similar to how Hong Taiji viewed Li Zicheng's uprising - bemused and with popcorn in hand. Trump's reign could be a lot like Li Zicheng. There are even rumours that Trump/Musk crew have plans to get rid of income tax entirely and replace that income with tariff since income tax is the last progressive tax left. If it happens then that poem originally created for 闯王 would work just fine for Trump：

It was the money printing, the pandemic cheques, that propelled the US economy. The point there is that once they take that away that stimulus, can the economy continue on its own?
My take is that it is a 50/50 chance.
However, three things against that at the moment.
i) people live paycheque to paycheque, means money is tight.
ii) another trade war, hehe ...
iii) the potential A.I. emergence will give big companies something to think about, as they probably not be hiring, they want to give the machine a chance
Take away the stimulus, the QE and government cheque, then put those headwinds into place, things could slow down.
