Tbh I'm surprised they're not making their own test. I was under the impression that NGAD is currently roughly near the 2001-2002 J-20 prototype stage. There should be enough material to show the public, and then from that point on, nationalistic coping will do the rest (in saving face).

It is funny that Americans cope by saying the NGAD is secret when it literally has to be shown off. The politicking behind it is incredible, not to mention the quite literally billions of dollars in the stock market that depend on this project. If Boeing doesn’t get it they might seriously be done.

Also, if the USAF really knew how to be humble they wouldn’t have bragged about B-21 the way that they did.

Something I have come to realize is that the Americans that work in the DoD seriously buy into their own koolaid. Their arrogance is truly astounding and they make no effort to humble themselves due to their belief in exceptionalism.

I suspect it is because those that choose to work in DoD in the US are generally those of lesser intelligence
I mean, their entire semiconductor policy kinda showed that beyond all doubt already.

Check out the responses to Deepseek AI model (in the artificial intelligence thread), same general vibe: nothing we haven't done before/copied/less capable etc

Well the interesting part isn't that deepseek equals openAI as I'm pretty sure China always quite easily had that tech too. It's that they are apparently just a tiny dev group where only Chinese citizen are allowed, with little/no disclosed funds?

It almost smells like an op to me. If I'm the govt, had made a black project with AI and needed to begin widespread integration of my project results into society, it makes sense to create a new "champion" who will have the best tech and an inscrutable background.

So I'll certainly be watching them with way more interest, expecting maybe greatly interesting things from them in the future.

Also the soyboys who are butthurt about J-36 being Chinese propaganda. What the hell did China do other than fly it? Did any official channels make chest thumping claims like it can annihilate inferior American fighter fleet or something like that?

The hypocrisy is unreal.

Indians, is your girlfriend:

-pale skin
-considered muslim hating
-effortlessly dismantling her geopolitical enemies
-the strongest country in her neighborhood
-able to rip up the infrastructures of her enemies without protest
-airforce at least 1 generation ahead of her neighbors

If so, that might not be your old boring middle eastern girlfriend but the new and exciting People's Republic of China.

So how about a change of allegiance? It's not too late.
Please keep their inferior genes of scamming, poo eating, bitching, rape and lack of hygiene far, far away from Haplogroup O-M122. There's a reason why the Himalayas exists and why their deity Shiva prefers to be on the Chinese side of the border.
I’m baffled by one thing. Why is it so difficult to believe that the country that can make this:

Can’t revolutionize air combat?
Westerners and their sycophants really told themselves that "Chinese can't innovate". It appears they were wishcasting, but too bad the will of 1.4 billion Chinese were enough to overturn the warp and influence realspace. The Omnissiah is Chinese after all.
If only Chinese Americans had this guy’s balls.

there's 2 strains here:
1) a member of the ruling class of america being as out of touch with the american people as to do the modern equivalent of Marie Antoinette's "Let Them Eat Cake"
2) an indian member of the ruling class who is symbolic of the US elite's desire to import massive indians to replace american workers with pliant, slavish, smelly suboids.

Vivek appeared to think he did something to help here, his behavious is typical of the indian middle manager who sucks up to the white anglo higher ups but patronises the workers. To a MAGA who has seen his opportunities stolen by H1B recipients, Vivek and the other indians staffing Trump's admin, this is simply a mirror of his own life experiences. And Trump, typical boomer that he is, believes that all the indians he interacts with, in their slavishness and their kissing up to him, thinks that he can trust these indians hence why he has more than a few indians in his administration.

Trump urges Supreme Court to hit pause on a law that could ban TikTok in the U.S. next month

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments in the case on Jan. 10. The law is currently set to take effect Jan. 19, one day before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in.

, Trump’s lawyer who is also the president-elect’s pick for U.S. solicitor general. “Instead, he respectfully requests that the Court consider staying the Act’s deadline for divestment of January 19, 2025, while it considers the merits of this case, thus permitting President Trump’s incoming Administration the opportunity to pursue a political resolution of the questions at issue in the case.”
The law at the heart of the suit is the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, a bipartisan measure passed by Congress and subsequently signed into law by President Joe Biden in April.

The law would require TikTok’s Chinese owner, ByteDance, to sell the platform to an American company or face a ban.

Looks like Trump wants to make a deal with Xi over Tiktok.

I see a lot of these, its hilarious
- "yeah it looks super cool/super-advanced but [insert cope]"
- "I'm not scared/worried at all" after being asked by nobody
- "China believes in looking strong when you're weak", i.e. they look strong to me.
- "It's not 6th gen" while "NGAD will get more funding now"
