If this is true I wonder when reality will hit them that you can't bring back manufacturing without giving up dollar hegemony. I'm not as optimistic as you. My biggest concern has always been the ability of US to mobilize its "allies" to self-destruct for US's own interests. You saw it with Huawei bans, with Russia sanctions, with litho ban, now with EV tariffs, etc. A China-US confrontation won't be confined to the two countries - the EU/UK/Japan/Canada/Australia will be strung along, and it's definitely not an easy challenge for China to face.

Elon double heading DOGE is also an odd choice. I just assumed that Elon doesn’t want to give up his day job of pretending he is the real life Tony Stark, so the arrangement is that he calls the shots when he can be othered, while the India is in charge.m of the day-to-day running of the place.

I think Jai Hinds believe Adani Enterprise is like some sort of national champion like Samsung or Toyota which can uplift the whole society, which cannot be further from the truth.

The EU is exhausted economically from sanctioning Russia and cutting themselves off from cheap Russian oil and gas and other natural resources.
