TSMC in order to get this fab running they need to hired qualify people most of they can't find in the US, so in order to have this exercise on futility working in a decent time and no have to wait 10 years with yields lower than Florida sinking coastline they prioritize hiring Taiwanese and other Asians, the logical solution, BUT NO, you can't have that in the US, sentiments are getting hurt folks and that is more important than high yields and advanced process nodes. Not looking good for TSMC in the US if Trump force them to hire unqualified people.

I think the US officials should go further and sanction TSMC for not hiring Americans in America and also keeping 2nm to themselves.
