Mike Pompeo wants to be Secretary of State again to make China remove him from their sanctions list. Even the right-wing Koch brothers wouldn't put him their board because then China wouldn't have any business to do with them. China sanctioning people is more powerful than the US's sanctions because every US corporations' dream is selling to a billion people market. Vice versa doesn't have the same kind of effect.

Take this pertinent and persistent example that's far too common in India. So, instead of the government (regardless of party) focus on addressing those important issues raised on this tweet/X the government at all levels pretend that they have arrived at an inflection point of supapowah trajectory. The unfortunate thing is that they have been fooled and continue to be fooled by western firms, governments, and its own large diaspora from the West to continue the path to nowhere.

I don't believe the IMF/WB projection since the actual data provided to them is in my opinion ACTUALLY BOGUS, CORRUPTED, MANIPULATED which is ironic since these are the same traits that's been flung against China's own economic growth/data for decades now from the usual suspects including from the undisputed scammers, India.

Honestly 2024 has not been a good year for India.

  • 0 golds at Olympics
  • Lost Bangladesh
  • Canada now openly hostile to them
  • Sunak/Harris lost showing that Indian Diaspora are not liked in the west like they think they are
  • Huge influx of anti-Indian posting
  • Have to sign the border agreement with China so they cannot have a legit reason against China anymore without looking bad
In two weeks time, there will the World Chess Championship between Ding Liren against Gukesh. This is their last chance of making 2024 look not so bad. If Gukesh loses against Ding who is now ranked like #20 coz he wants to quit, you will never hear the end of it for the next two years.

I know there's been a whiplash of Western nations going from viewing Chinese as passive to insane ultranationalists with the flames being fanned by the CPC, but what people continue to fail to realize is that the CPC actually keeps a lid on things so that ultranationalism doesn't get out of control.

The CPC wants patriots, not insane fanatics who want to hammer at every nail they see without any rational input or thought of obvious consequences, nevermind unforseen ones. It's been said many times and bears repeating, if the CPC completely relinquished control of the internet Westerners who think they've seen everything when it comes to shitposting are in for a rude awakening.
