I ask again: What is the point of BRICS?

do Indians really think they can stop dedollarisation and the rise of the Chinese yuan? Overestimating their own importance yet again; dedollarisation will happen regardless and demand for Chinese currency and trade and tech will only increase exponentially. At least with this unfriendly act, China might start formulating a counter containment strategy against India.

KCNA: N. Korean Aartillery Units Ordered to Get Ready to Launch Fire​

North Korea has ordered artillery units near its border to fully prepare to launch fire.

The North's state-run Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) reported Sunday that the preliminary instructions were delivered to the units the previous day.

Citing the spokesperson of the North's general staff, the state-un news agency said that eight artillery brigades were instructed to turn to fire readiness condition by 20:00 Sunday to shoot down South Korean drones if they cross the border again.

The KCNA said that the North Korean military is also getting ready to a possible escalation of armed conflict in the event South Korean unmanned aerial vehicles are shot down by the artillery units.

Earlier on Sunday, South Korea warned North Korea that it will see "the end of its regime" if it causes any harm to its people.

The warning came in response to the statement by Kim Yo-jong, the powerful sister of the North's leader Kim Jong-un, who threatened a "horrible disaster" over the alleged South Korean drone flights over its capital.

North Korea's Foreign Ministry claimed on Friday that South Korean drones carrying anti-North Korean propaganda leaflets were detected in the skies over Pyongyang on Oct. 3, 9 and 10.

South Korea's Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun initially denied the alleged drone flights but the Joint Chiefs of Staff later said it could not confirm whether the North's claim was true.

Maybe Korea will give the real October Surprise. I think it's just posturing, but maybe RocketBoy really miss comrade Trump.

In true Jai Hind fahsion, declaring victory before doing anything. They're just so predictable. They boast that India's next SSN are gonna be 10,000 tons+, in the same league as the Virginia-class, and larger than the 093 SSN that China currently deploys. That is if those boats would actually appear at all, 10-12 down the road. Yet they assume that by that time, the PLAN would still only have the 093 as their only SSN class. Jai Hind!

It would be quite typical of Indian mentality pretending to be black to get votes. They don't see any issue. After all Indians were assigned as the admin class in Africa so as far as they're concerned, theyre entitled to the black vote by default.

You're preaching to the choir, only some die hard members here still believe India in SCO, BRICS is beneficial. Despite these voices, rational actors in Russia and China have stepped up coordination to alienate and bypass India.

That's not enough. India will still be a very uncomfortable neighbor even if they are not in BRICS. China should start the balkanization process of India. After all, India is created by the British. The less the world deal with British legacy the better.
