The US agricultural sector is perplexed how China's grain reserves are filling while not buying them from the US and others. They have to guess that it's coming from Russia. Why is it so important for them to know? Because this is why data is so important to the West more than ever. They don't have that data and because they decoupled from Russia including the use of the dollar which is a major way the US knows commerce flows around the world, they don't have that information anymore between Russia and China and in the future the West will be more out of touch as the world disconnects with them more and more. That's the blowback from the West's arrogance thinking the world need them more than the West needs everyone else.
The US demanded all data from foreign companies of allied countries or else face sanctions. All under the guise that they wanted to know what possible dual-use advanced technology to China they were selling in order to stop it. The only way Israel would know what items were being bought by Hezbollah and specifically by who is how they could plant explosives in them. The US has that data because Japanese and Taiwanese companies already gave that information to the US. Recently the EU demanded Chinese companies give their data to them if they didn't want to face tariffs because of alleged subsidies given by Beijing. That data would reveal what technology was Russia getting from China. You don't think the Europeans wouldn't be sharing that information with the US? This isn't a one-time thing. They would expecting current data as it would come in.
Why is the US so alarmed at China getting US data? Because they just have to look at themselves on how they're abusing data. As more and more countries get wind of what the West is doing, the more the West faces a huge black hole in the world where they will know nothing on what's going on. China should demand the EU hand over their data since they're notorious for subsidies and watch them say no.
