The situation with Ford and GM is kinda sad because they tried to offer quality products to the China market, which is more than I could say about Japanese and Korean auto makers. In much of the 2010s they had better word of mouth than Japanese/Korean cars because they didn’t cut corners.

Hoping the initiative passes and targets all highly capable Chinese researchers, especially in semiconductors.
US is projecting a pyschological takeover because they know in all the metrics that count, China has already overtaken or will soon overtake US and rest of the West.
