You can have 1000 gazillion virtual stock market valuations, but if tangible reality is not behind it (earnings, etc), it will pop.
Everything in the West is based on virtual swagger, whereas everything in China is based on tangible and stable real results.
American capitalism means ppl like Pelosi can insider trade and Warren buffet can offload his stock to retail investors and when retail investors need to take action because of something like this carry trade/japan issue, then their trading platforms mysteriously suffer technical problems whilst large institutional investors can offload their stock. Retail investors ie the little guys are basically bagholders for the American elite.
But you don’t see the government going after large traders, anymore than the USG did anything about Madoff who was a member of the SEC and who only got done cuz his victims were Jewish.

It's quite remarkable seeing the US souring on pretty much all global institutions, WHO, WTO, IMF, WADA, UN, etc. Mind you, most of these institutions are still largely pro-US given that the US gov is their biggest donor but they also have to have a degree of neutrality to preserve legitimacy and that alone is enough for US politicians to start attacking these institutions for not being rabidly anti-China/Russia.
That and the rise of conspiratorial thinking among many Americans who now think these institutions "are captured by the CCP" just goes to show the extent of decline of US global stature.

India conceptualized this concept and convinced Iran + Afghan puppets but once US sanctioned Iran, India realized it's neither a superpower nor a regional power and abandoned the project.
Once US sanctions on Iran expired, India tried again with that new corridor to Europe via Russia and Iran. Now Russia is heavily sanctioned by Europe and America, while Iran is probably going to war with a country who has military ties with India... LOLOLOLOL!
