Prison State sentence squatter / scammer to 40 years in prison. Obvious crime and should face jail, but i find it ridiculous that you can kill/rape a person and get much less. Kill a person driving (while being distracted or incompetent) and usually just get a ticket!

They changed the law a few months ago. Him forging fake documents to impersonate and steal their house put him in the first degree felony as a squatter. Surprising that the real owners have to go through civil litigation to reclaim their property.

"Even though the defendant has been in custody since his arrest, he remained the listed owner of the property pending civil litigation and the outcome of the criminal case," according to the releases.

Even then the sentence is very excessive. Clearly, the DA wanted to use him as an example. 40 years of prison AND 30 years of probation.

The sentence includes 25 years for fraudulent use of personal identification information and 15 years for grand theft over $100,000. Hobbs will also face 30 years of probation after serving his prison sentence.

I don't think there is, or ever will be enough training data to effectively train a model to test/code kernel level hacks.
Would certainly explain how they pushed out an update that crashed computers on boot without noticing.
Did they not even push the update to a virtual machine to see what would happen first? Amazing.

My understanding is that that was supposed to happen or it happened, but the pipeline flagged failing tests as passed.

The west( mainly Europe ) criticized Qatar getting to host world cup when it was the safest world cup in history with not a single incident of violence or any disturbance.
