I could be a jerk and simply say that their accent that they have when they try yet another telemarking scam tips them off almost immediately that makes me what to kill someone but I guess yes, once you hear the same smart ass tone they use, anyone with a brain will ultimately pick up on it and get annoyed by it

Most westerners seem to believe almost anything they say even when their history implies bullshit is about to happen (and they make this mistake almost repeatedly), I mean they simply love flattery, it’s how you honestly get employed into a company sometimes in the western world (of course they keep you if you can actually do the work but don’t tell them that), if you have the balls to walk in and suck up to an employer, you would put yourself that much more ahead of the pack when it comes to jobs (it’s literally what Indians get jobs easily at times even when they are seriously under qualified)

What i have noticed in my time at global anglo firms are that besides sucking up to the board members is that these indians will immediately ask for a title change/promotion but tell the boss 'oh no Saar, i don't need a pay rise, i just want the extra responsibility-uh' because their strategy is to put that job title on their resume and use it to get a higher position at a different firm. Once at the new firm, they'll offload thier jobs and responsibilities to other more competant workers, usually asian or white workers and immediately start firing the older more experienced hands in favour of offshoring the jobs to india and trying to pass off the savings as a profit. The inevitable result is last Friday with Cloudstrike.

Russia fulfills their threat of arming American enemies around the world as retaliation. Like the Houthis. They use advanced Russian weapons against Israeli or Western Warships.

Then they proceed to claim the exact same point as the US did over Ukraine. But we all know the US political scene will go completely crazy.

US political scene won't do anything... They have already done nothing despite 2 years of China propping Russia into becoming the 4th largest economy in the world, despite Anglo oaths to crash the Russian economy as revenge for Ukraine war...

Yemen now have more official reason to recieve arms because Israel decided to directly attack them back. Arms will arrive and US will keep doing nothing or the bare minimum.

Maybe Trump will approve an all out invasion of Israel's neighbors because he is an Israeli asset. But that will still not prevent America's enemies from keep propping up anti American forces, because US has shown that there are no consequences for doing so.

Now that I think about it, it does make sense why I saw so much title inflation when it comes to Indians in particular. Why they always call themselves xxx manager even though they have shown they can't even do the basics. A lot of companies inflate titles so you could be vice president without having any actual basic nevermind managing experience. Then you can go to another company that doesn't know that and people will never find out since you are managing people but never doing any actual work.

It's basically widespread fraud at the workplace using middle management. No wonder all these infected western companies are going down the gutter.

Hmmm, it was true at least 7 years ago but I guess now things have changed. Having worked quite a while in a local western engineering firm, most of the workers have to be competent in order to maintain their placement but those that excel like me and another guy from south China have to perform consistently well and at the top to ensure that our positions are not in question. I am not saying that an Indian cannot excel but simply bullshitting without producing results regardless of race means that that person can easily be made redundant if they don’t perform. I noticed that many engineering firms, western or not where I am in, will only last if they have the right degree of competency along with pragmatism along with making sure that they are enough senior staff is around to prevent a brain drain. From this, I can sort of see why many of these Indian type sales men people never make it beyond the interview stage, at least where I am standing. They would never make it to the manager level regardless of how impressive their resume is (especially if the firm doesn’t need one) and they almost never seem to perform the most basic task in the company which they almost always seem to avoid at all cost.

If you're an Asian man, it's a different ball game; again from my experience in the finance and medical world of the anglosphere; from day 1 you have a target on your back and are expected to be competant to such an exacting degree and under more scrutiny that is not imposed on white workers.
Speaking from the finance and insurance world where you need a certain licence to give x amount of advice, you're given y amount of time to get accredited and if you're a white anglo or an asian female, you'll get all the support and time and coaching you need. Do you get that if you're Asian man? Nup, you get dumped into the deep end and expected to do the hard yards and if things screw up cuz they don't inform you or give you the correct information, it's all on you, it goes into their ammunition that they need to tear you down even if you do surpass your KPIs. White anglo boomers, men and women alike, are so focused on ensuring no Asian surpasses them and takes their jobs that they willingly give away positions to sycophantic indians who have lied on their resume...who then in turn hire their own cousins et al.

Once they feel they can trust you, and if you're technically highly competent, they will come to you in private and ask you if you want to take on X role. In the political field, I wouldn't bother as you'll be under extreme scrutiny, however in industry, as long as you are reasonably politically savvy with the right people and competent then as an asian man you can still find yourself in high positions.

Apparently the temporary leadership made several provocative moves before the SecGen died, including strengthening ties with Philippines and filing a UN claim

This does not bode well for China Vietnam relations and may indicate the late SecGen was the only thing stopping Vietnam from becoming an adversary

Potentially attempting a Saudi Arabia to extract more favorable terms from China. Will need to wait and see what type of leader he turns out to be.

I've found as long as you have a reasonably close level of cultural similarity, if you make yourself 'useful' to key people (as in makes things easier for them, not ass kissing) they will take a shine to you, regardless of background, including promotions, however that's just my experience.

My background is 华侨, Overseas Chinese so i grew up with an Aussie accent, inflection and speech which definitely helps in accessibility...until they see my Asian face and my Asian name and see me talking to white women. You can make yourself 'useful' or competant which is the bare minimum for any job, but no white person ever had to deal with bamboo ceilings or being targeted simply for being Asian. An Asian man in a workplace is an easy target as a scapegoat or simply a target for being human, and most other workers are just glad that someone else is the target and not them.

It appears in an industry like engineering or technology, worker efficacy and competance is highly relevant as opposed to the greyzone softer skills like finance and insurance; in my experience, fields like engineering and hard science tend to be mainly male dominated so tend to be autistically in favour of meritocracy as opposed to finance which is really just a jobs program for the failsons and faildaughters of dumb kids of the middle-upper white anglo classes.

One thing that stood out to me was the US mafia strategy of intimidating third parties around the world from doing business with Chinese tech, Huawei and EVs.
