This is actually a sad reality of agriculture in many Western countries. Italy has a large Indian slave labor workforce employed in agriculture. Canada has ~40% and USA ~70% of agricultural workforce composed of slaves from Mexico and Central America who come here seasonally, working well below safety standards and minimum wage. Nobody wants to talk about it or fix the issue because the truth is: if it wasn't for this slave labor, the $2 loaf of bread in the supermarket would cost $9.
