Does he himself tell what engine it is or hinted at it? Also what makes you think that this is WS-15 Im curious since I don't know how WS-15 looks likeWith the image this castrated I doubt you can be sure.
Well, Oneninety is reliable... Usually.

They were silver, though. The ones there are definitely black, or at least different.More like the older - longer nozzles - of the AL-31-powered J-20s even more so since the radome / nose does not look like J-20A-like.

This most definitely is a doctored photo. The whole thing just screamed fake to me especially with those weird afterburner angles. But the missing serrated edges also confused the hell out of me.well, this paint scheme may indicate that this is one of the early batches. Photo is possibly from Zhuhai Airshow. This is obviously a photo taken in bright daylight, and edited to make it looked like at night.
The after-burner flames looked a bit funny in direction. Can we see that much flame in bright day light?

My apologies I will spend more time analyzing the photo and then presenting all my findings later. I was too quick to judge as I just wanted to point out what I first noticed while looking at the new photo. How the hell you guys extrapolated any of this from a blurry photo is beyond me.
Don’t bother. Unless someone with deep reliable street cred posts an image explicitly stating what it is, or unless the image is high quality enough for people to assess for themselves, this kind of blind guessing at low information content is meaningless. My apologies I will spend more time analyzing the photo and then presenting all my findings later.
