That's right. Netflix's Three Body Problem had replace most of the main Chinese characters with Anglo characters. Doesn't matter what their skin colour is, they are either British or American characters. While the original TBP was centred in China, the Netflix's one was centred on the UK. I question whether Netflix should have been allowed to use the original title of Liu Cixin's TBP. The whole series actually covers 3 books, beginning with TBP. But the TBP title definitely sells better.The thread below shows you the main Chinese characters on the left and their replacements on the right. They pretty much butchered all the Chinese characters.

What Netflix did was not exactly a whitewash, but this time, it's more specifically an Anglowash. But unlike Ghost in the Shell, there has been no public outrage. Why? Because its mainland Chinese characters who were being edited out, not Japanese, Korean, or "good" Chinese. Again, racism against mainland Chinese has been made politically correct in the Anglo world.
