I never knew this existed. The Chinese are surely the most innovative, clever and shameless when it comes to making money. This is so awesome!! These shows are so bad in terms story, acting and budget but super addictive to most likely female audiances. Also their model of bite sized shows that must be unlocked by watching ads is very similar to Webnovels, another popular Chinese genre of media. So, they took the webnovel model of badly written but addictive novels and transported that into tv shows!!
I think this will be the next big thing in the world.
Eh, I don't think it's gonna be the 'next big hit'.
But it will carve out a space for itself, for now (and the short and medium future).

That's funny because on average, Chinese people are taller than Hindus. Recently, I was waiting in line and a Hindu in front of me was telling his friend that he was 6'2". I'm almost 6'1" (without shoes) and I was wearing sandals at the time but I could still easily see the top of his head. They really love to brag, even when they have to lie to do so. If India wants to destroy the competitiveness of its own pharma industry, they should be allowed to do so. It keeps China's hands clean and opens new opportunities for Chinese pharma companies. Chinese API who loss sales to the Indian market should look for other buyers, and even local buyers. Chinese pharmaceuticals can start to buy up those APIs and compete with Indian pharmas with better pricing.
