Wonder how many of those children are still alive now.
Children in Gaza had a press conference to tell the rest of the world that they want to live.

Not only Germany, the whole EU has to get its sovereignty back before any hope of improvement in its economy.

“Israel is a bulwark for us... it’s almost like having an aircraft carrier in the Middle East. If Israel disappears, Russia, China, and BRICS+ countries will control 90% of the oil in the world and that would be cataclysmic for US national security.” - such is the caliber of a potential US presidential candidate.

Such hypocrisy will cause irreparable damage to the G7, not that G7 has much moral authority to begin with.

Today's fine example of the freedom of speech in the US:

I saw this post late. If this is the decision of a moderator I will stop. Delete my last post.
It is not the decision of a mod or the mod team. As a matter of fact, bold colored (non-black) text is a mod message or announcement. @Phead128 was just suggesting that debating with @manqiangrexue is never going to resolve and that both sides should just agree to disagree and move on.

America is not doing as poorly as you think. They're currently cannibalizing Europe to maintain themselves but Europe still has a lot of wealth to plunder yet. I don't see them collapsing anytime soon.

That's not the fight that they are fighting. Tech, wealth, trade are all secondary to the preeminent reason: no chinaman can be allowed to surpass any god-fearing white man. They will continue to fight in this realm as long as China is not the obvious leader.

It was never about technology or economics.
America has managed to maintain stable despite the dysfunctional and highly corrupt political system because of geography.

There was simply no outside power large enough and close enough to interfere. Russia has shown that some degree of interference is now possible through the internet. China needs to step it up a lot of it wants to end American hegemony.

Thanks to China's non-interventionist foreign policy, nothing will really change. Additionally, unless Yellowstone blows up, their geographic circumstances won't be changing anytime soon either. IMO China should abandon its current policy and follow game theory tit-for-tat. Everything the US has done to China should be fair game in retaliation.

Trump Leads in 5 Critical States as Voters Blast Biden, Times/Siena Poll Finds

Voters in battleground states said they trusted Donald J. Trump over President Biden on the economy, foreign policy and immigration, as Mr. Biden’s multiracial base shows signs of fraying.

It's time to come back to the foothills of the Himalayas comrade Biden, you did great work.

Is this just a coincidence?
Easy job for Biden, to get those republicans majority counties/ states to swing support to him by lifting Trump era trade restriction so China will continue buying corns, soyabeans, wheat, pork , beef from those states .....yet he f*cked it up.

I agree. Non interventionism is an outdated concept since it has failed to stop the US from attacking China in all aspects.

EU threatens tougher stance on China as concerns over Beijing’s economic policies grow in build-up to summit

  • Commission head Ursula von der Leyen and other senior officials have hit out at what they say is Beijing’s disruptive influence and unfair trade policies
  • Business leaders have also expressed growing disquiet, while EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell raised the spectre of a trade war if things do not change
European Union leaders and business chiefs have rounded on China’s economic policies ahead of what

.
In multiple speeches this week, the bloc’s leadership dangled the prospect of more adversarial trade policies should China not open its market to European firms and stop what they perceive as economic bullying.
While China has pushed back strongly against the idea that Europe is a rival, von der Leyen warned an audience of EU ambassadors in Brussels: “We must recognise that there is an explicit element of rivalry in our relationship.
Speaking at the same event, the EU’s top diplomat Josep Borrell raised the spectre of a trade war with Beijing, panning the “abysmal trade deficit” and warning that it “will be difficult for China to maintain its access to the European market at a time when European companies are finding it increasingly difficult to work in China”.
He added: “If China continues to deny the reality and consequences of this imbalance, it runs the risk of seeing a rising demand in Europe for more protection. We are not protectionist, but maybe we have to protect ourselves. If China does not open, maybe we will have to close.”

I understand why Comrade Trump started a trade war with China, but I don't know why EU wants to do the same? Do European leaders have a death wish or are they secretly comrades too?
