What happened to how India was going to win the future because it had so many young people? It means nothing if they aren't skilled to make the money.
Indians in the west already don’t even work 40 hours, if even half that. In my experience, Indian workers spend more time avoiding work, accountability and results. There’s a reason maths Olympiads worldwide are comprised of Chinese students and not Indians.
Japan never had the right to do what they did because they were not the originator of East Asian civilization.

China, as the mother civilization of all of East Asia, has a right to creating an East Asian sphere of influence and inducting nation states (by force if necessary) into this order.
I see it more as Japan no longer deserving to remain a viable state and culture after what it did in the 20th century and should by rights, go the way of the Khitans and xianbei. The jurchens committed the jingkang incident and today they are no more, subsumed into the Chinese polity as Manchus. The same may apply for japan.

Global garment and footwear producers are facing challenges with shifting supply chains out of China, Bloomberg reported earlier this week, citing several apparel makers and factory owners.

Most have faced difficulties finding alternative production hubs, with some even moving back to the mainland, having reversed their plans due to growing economic uncertainties across the world and sluggish consumer demand.

According to Laura Magill, the global head of sustainability at footwear brand Bata Group, the mature ecosystem developed in China over decades ensures competitive price points and delivers stable quality at large-scale manufacturing that’s “hard to copy” somewhere else.
What shifting production out of China? Told you China haters that it's not just the cheap labour that makes China's manufacturing so successful. It's the entire ecosystem. Government, 5-year plans, infrastructure, education, supply chain, market, down to the average Chinese. Today, China's industrial ecosystem is so far ahead, that it can even manufacture stuff just as competitively with countries with lower labour costs.

Too risky to do business in USA. Losing USD 977m over "defective" seatbelt in 1992 car ( almost 25 years-old car ).

Not surprising at all. A family member lost her court case as defendant for a Japanese furnace manufacturer. The case involved an accidental death related to a improper maintenance of the said 40-year old industrial furnace by the US client. The offending client is nearly backrupt and the manufacturer was targeted and held liable for the accident and was ordered to pay compensation.

Bahrain has recalled its ambassador to Israel and suspended economic ties with Tel Aviv, the Gulf country’s parliament announced on Thursday.

Israel’s envoy has also departed Bahrain, the parliament said in a statement.

It added that its decision to recall its envoy and suspend economic relations is based on the kingdom’s “solid and historical stance that supports the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”

The parliament also slammed “Israel’s continuous military operations and escalation amid lack of respect to international humanitarian law,” and called for more decisions and measures to safeguard the lives of civilians in Gaza and across all Palestinian territories.

Bahrain established ties with Israel under the US-brokered Abraham Accords of 2020.

In a similar move, Jordan on Wednesday announced it had recalled its ambassador from Israel and told the Israeli ambassador to stay away in protest at the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

Israel has relentlessly bombed Gaza, killing at least 9,061 Palestinians – mostly children – since a Hamas incursion into the country on October 7. Israeli officials say Hamas killed 1,400 people and took over 200 captive.
