So they shed another one?
Yes - That is around one month after the first shed was dismantled.

In the meantime... Hopefully the last shed can be dismantled before October 1st. Once the last shed is gone, the first sea trial (hopefully) isn't far off.

you guys think China will run into problems with the EMALS like the US did?

It's common knowledge in published articles that the US EMALs has a fundamental design flaw where individual components cannot be electrically isolated from the entire system.

So when a component like one of the energy flywheels needs repairs, they have to shut down the entire system.

It would be incredible if the Chinese Navy didn't put in electrical isolation switches which allows individual components to be worked on whilst the rest of the EMALs continues to operate as normal.

My guess is that this factor alone will make the Chinese EMALs more reliable than the Ford carrier EMALs
