ZTQ-15 and PRC Light Tanks

Interesting they seem to have tanks with both versions of the commander sight (basic and advanced) in the same unit.

I wonder if they did that because they were rushing the formation of the unit and so issued them with all available vehicles irrespective of blocks, or if this hi-lo mix in sights is going to be standard practice with all Type15 units.

My current suspicion is that "big" (advanced) sight version isn't compatible with the "bucket" armored hood.
But to confirm this we'd need to properly compare both vehicles and optical windows.
