Yeah that's what I meant by maybe an optical illusion. But seriously it looks like a single missile doesnt it.
Actually now that I zoomed in and stared at it a bit I think its just two missiles.
Speaking of this pod. I think we've seen a similar communication jammer pod on JH-7A before.
But this new pod have a new pair of smaller antennas.
They are similar externally in the sense that they have some ventral antennae, though the size of the pods and what we can see of their geometry, is quite different.
They might or might not serve similar roles, but they should be quite separate systems imo.
