Keep hoping!That's what my feeling tells me too and as such I don't have very high hopes.
By the way, concerning high hopes!
I believe China and Europe are discussing the vaccine passport. The most important item is recognizing each's vaccination.
Once it's rectified, both European and Chinese shall travel freely without the severe quarantine.
Wonder if a prototype version of the J-31 be flying at the airshow? If it did, it will shock every pundit!
now I'm more hyper on j-20 in new engine. XD
Certainly as it is, there doesnt seem to be anything thats going to be shocking. So I am sure there is something special. J20 with WS15 would be shocker. So would a new stealth fighter for the carrier. Any news of new drones would be droll.
If they are still holding an Airshow at Zhuhai this year, get ready for a surprise.

Dev engine at airshow is a very risky idea.
There are much safer ways to get attention.
