Would the US ban this airshow ?
Sorry, you know my impatience ... and especially any news especially for foreigners?
Just confirming that the Zhuhai airshow will be held between September 28th and October 3rd. Not shown is an interesting bit of info by the Weibo poster that unmanned vehicles will be heavily featured at the airshow, with Wing Loong II doing a flight performance.
If you have more than a month to burn (quarantine) I guess you can try going to the air show? I don't think it'll be very friendly to foreign observers, especially with the delta covid variant rampaging through the world right now.
The question is indeed, under what conditions are foreigners allowed to participate? The English site for media accounts / visitors hasn't been updated yet (at least not by my knowing), but since I have my full vaccination since this week (+ two additional weeks) at least this is no longer an issue. But You are correct, a full month of quarantine would be a "no go"! Otherwise I will try my best to attend.
By the way, will there be or is there already a dedicated Weibo site for the Zhuhai Airshow 2020 (2021)?
I think they are being very cautious. My guess is that you probably won't be able to make it this year.
That's what my feeling tells me too and as such I don't have very high hopes.
