they have some for the civilian sector but not for the navy ?

the deck of the Type 075 LHD could seriously do with a 6 of these on it

also would be good on the Carriers
The major difference between the AC-313 and the Z-8L is that the former is equipped with the Canadian Pratt & Whitney PT6B-67A engine, which is not allowed to be used in military products.

AC313A (top) and Z-8L (bottom) from roughly the same angle.

I am pretty sure z8l and z8g are also using pt6b.

No they are not.
What's your evidence on that? Shilao says Z-8G/L are still using PT6B and the intake certainly looks like the original one rather than the new WZ-6C intakes

From Shilao, a 15 minute clip on China's heavy helicopter development and differences between Z-8L and AC-313A

Big difference seems to be putting 3 engines facing rear (original design was constrained from this due to being narrower)
a new improved 3300 kw main reduction gearbox (was 2950 kw on AC313)
tail rotor also had some adjustment
-> improved flight performance.

I am curious what French can get from AC313A project except money. Will they consider use AC313A in French?
