Top one looks like the chaff being fired prior to it breaking up. It is packed in rectangular tubes by the looks of the dispenser

If you look closely at the image of the chaff being fired you can see the green cap in the middle of the bundle, with the two halves of the tube splitting apart to release the chaff bundle. Iirc if you find an image of flare countermeasures being fired the caps on the flares are red.

The model designation for Z-19's head-up display is XPS-20.
