Top mounted MMW radar finally. That's a massive leap in tactical capability. Allows acquisition lock from behind cover, pop up to launch, and then lowering back behind cover. It basically makes the gunship invincible when properly employed + when terrain cover is available, as it can't be engaged by enemy SAMs or ground fire.

However, they are expensive and the Pak Army needs a LOT of these, along with a lot more heavy armor. We are way behind in this operational requirement.

I thought they were thinking about 30 Z-10s. Is that enough for PA?

It's not even close to being enough...

30 is basically one battalion, which should be attached to 6th Armored alone, whose AoR is the plains of Punjab i.e. 'prime tank country.' Then we need another 30 for 1st Armored, and that's just the minimum for the existing 2 armored divisions, which are covering a very wide AO.... imo, we're short 3 heavy divisions. So these 30 gunships barely scratches the surface.

what about 30 Z-10 and 30 Z-19? I'm just thinking from cost point of view here. What was the plan for PA when they only ordered 30 T-129s?

You're assuming there is a "plan". They don't know how to form any viable operational plan. Every war they've fought has proven this in the field. Only our Air Force actually sits down to "plan" stuff. Our grunt generals don't know what that word means.

DIRCM (Directional Infrared Counter Measures), a low power laser turret which shot the IR seeker of missile, and it should be a glass cover in combat status.

Apparently first flight of a new Z-10 type.

Poster speculates it might be the Pakistani Z-10, but if those photos we saw a while ago of the 2nd export prototype is the Pakistani one, then this might be another variant and not that - unless this is old news and it is indeed the Pakistani one.

My guess would be that this refers to ME02 in the "Pakistan fit" which I assume to be the most recent photos. The statement appears in the past tense and also implies that progressing (not finishing) the 313 was an equal task. Combined with the recent released photos of ME02 and the unknown status of Z10 for Pakistan, I think this isn't for PLA but they are giving some PR to how hard they are working for the Pakistan contract.
