Your academia

Started BSc in psych and stats... thinking about adding on a BA to that in English Writing for the lulz.

No wonder this forum is so intelligent; everyone else is so smart. Bltizo LOL so you're Psych major too eh?

As for myself, I'm Bachelor of Arts Psychology Major on Social Psychology and Cognitive, International Studies Minor on Securities and East Asia(particularly China) at Simon Fraser University. I'm planning for MBA afterwards with a combo of Philosophy Minor hopefully.

Hi airsuperiority, it's not the letters after one's name that make people intelligent. By jove, I know some guys with high qualifications but not "smart" at all, as they are "bookish" without practical experiences. It's just that we who have gone to Universities had the opportunity to do so. There are many really smart people with experience but without uni diplomas. They are really good at their work & chosen careers. BTW, Winston Churchill the famous wartime PM of UK was not a University graduate. He schooled at the famous Eton College. There are several others too. So let's look at the person's experiences & expertise when we read the postings in this forum, which incidentally I enjoy reading. Warm regards.

Wow, lots of humanities majors here mixed with a few engineers. I'm actually completing my third year of BASc. in Civil Engineering here at the University of Waterloo. If my GPA allows, I hope to go on for a JD at U of Toronto.

I got my BASc in Engineering in space mission planning and spacecraft design, but for Master I decided to do something more down to Earth, a bit of flight dynamics and a lot of filtering. Learned about geology and meteorology in the process as well.

I have finsihed my Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from IIT Delhi and MS in Digital Signals. I am also a major in Mathematics(B.A) and currently with Accenture as a consultant. I prototyped an intelligent SRW Adapter in my college days which won the best project prize at MIT, USA. I'am 29 and I have one patent registered with the USPO.

RADAR and Signal processing is my speciality and interest.

Congrats Platopuss & the other graduates who are contributing to this professional forum. Your comments on Defence high-tech weaponry, equipment, radar, cyberwar etc. would be anticipated & beneficial for the readers. Only do not give away sensitive information over the internet - there are always prying eyes from everywhere. We expect a good number of the present & future young generations to be graduates, & hopefully educated in defence & security matters. Why? Because there are serious threats from terrorism, rogue states etc. Religious extremism & political ideologies still exist and are against our democratic ways of life.

This is gonna be interesting. I first started studying recording engineering, then realized that don't put food on the table. Finished my BS in Finance and Economic double major, Now work for a firm in US, hoping they will pay for my MBA in the future.
