WOW! What an undertaking...and I imagine with the kind of weather they are going to get up there...it will be a very hard job to maintain that thin at the end of each winter season.

But a heck of a thing to have for summers and early fall for people to hike on.

Do you know that that "vehicle" is nicknamed "Rolls-Royce" by the Chinese in Cambodia. A single trip cost 500 Riel (~USD0.125). I take it once a while. They are not allowed on roads in the center of the city.

The original skywalk, the one that started it all, the Grand Canyon Skywalk on the Hualapai Indian Reservation. It was developed by an American Chinese. More about him here

Rajan, a 63-year-old Asian elephant takes a dip in the sea in the Bay of Bengal just off the remote Andaman Islands. Diver and photographer Cristian Dimitrius managed to get within metres of the four-tonne male pachyderm to get this shot. At least Rajan never forgets his trunks!
