This little grasshopper found the time to pose for the camera - after spending 10 minutes biting his way through a leaf. Despite being only ten centimetres long, the ambitious insect ate its way through the leaf in no time. And he wasn't shy when he had a camera pointed at him for a picture. Vadim Trunov, from Russia, was able to get up close and take the photos in a meadow near his home in Voronezh.

Cambodia's Sleuk Rith Institute to be Zaha Hadid's first large-scale wooden project.

Once complete, the Sleuk Rith Institute will serve as headquarters for Cambodian non-governmental organization Documentation Center of Cambodia, which was created in 1995 to document the atrocities committed by the country's infamously brutal Khmer Rouge regime.

The institute will feature a 68,000 sq m (732,000 sq ft) public memorial park containing sports fields, a vegetable garden, fruit orchards, and Cambodian sculptures. It will also include a library, graduate school, a media center, an auditorium, and a research center and archive that's home to the largest archive of genocide-related documents in Southeast Asia.

Tourists will have something more to see in addition to the Angkor Wat. The design is very elegant.

A hippo about to attack a safari boat in Botswana. Looking like something from the film Jaws, the protective mother rounded on the tour when they got too close to her calf. Rob Masterton and his wife Jessica Masterton-Smith were on a safari cruise through the Chobe National Park, Botswana, when the massive mammal pounced. As part of a two-month African expedition, Jessica had spotted a baby hippo in the river and their tour guide turned the boat to take a closer look. The extremely protective mother took offence and launched herself out of the water, teeth baring, before the vessel could finally escape her jaws.
