There is going to be repercussions from this cowardly act however Israel needs to identify the actual perpetrators. It could very well be Hamas or it could also be from some criminal element. That's not the typical MO of Hamas though that doesn't mean it couldn't be them.

So far in the search, six Palestinians have been killed.
I was wondering if the papers and TV could give us their names and ages, maybe a few flattering photographs and a list of their hobbies.
Then again I would say that the kidnap and murder of three boys is more of a Police matter rather than a military one. I also wonder what is the justification for the kind of collective punishment being discussed before any kind of inquest or criminal case has been brought or heard?
I mean if a couple of white kids vanished and were found dead in Harlem, would Airstrikes, Artillery and Armoured Assaults into the projects be regarded as an appropriate response for the next day?

They Won't do that. the prime suspects are Hamas members.
Hamas was suspected before any evidence was found and the subject of persecution for the whole time of the search. It is also remarkable that the whole of the West Bank was searched before the bodies were found very near the place the youths disappeared from.

The murder of the boys was a cruel and evil act that needs to be punished. But only the guilty should be punished.

Pinning the blame on Hamas with little to no evidence is both putting a stain on the memory of the dead, and also a shameful betral of those boys as rather than aiming to see justice done and their killers found and punished, Hama is scapegoated, even though its extremely unlikely they were involved, so what are the odds the real guilty party will be found if no one is bothering to do a proper investigation to find out what really happened?

All I can add is that the murders are remarkably convenient in their timing for those who do not approve of the union of the PLO and Hamas.

Much as I disapprove of Israel's response, I am not going to finger point via a knee jerk response as to who is responsible. There are doubtless many groups and interests on all sides; and mostly not in power in either Israel or the Palestinian Authority, who dislike this deal and would love to see it crash and burn.

Israel is certainly guilt of opportunism and dis-proportionality.

MARION, Ind. (AP) -- Authorities say a chemical explosion at a General Motors metal-stamping plant in Indiana has left one person dead and five others injured.

Marion Deputy Police Chief Cliff Sessoms says the blast killed 48-year-old James L. Gibson, a GM contractor.

A Marion General Hospital spokeswoman says five other people have non-life threatening injuries.

GM spokeswoman Stephanie Jentgen says "the situation is contained" and "everybody has been evacuated" from the plant in Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis.

Assistant Fire Chief Greg Yeakle tells the Marion Chronicle-Tribune that chlorine dioxide was involved in the explosion.

GM spokesman Bill Grotz says an investigation is underway.

The plant employs about 1,600 workers. It provides blanks, stampings and sheet metal assembly for vehicles to GM assembly plants across North America.

Cambodia vehemently denied that it has supported Japan's plan to enhance its military role, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

"The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation wishes to strongly reject the recent publications of Kyodo News Agency and Vietnam News Agency for having misquoted the remarks made by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong after official talks with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida on June 30," said the official statement posted on the ministry's website.
