NEW DELHI (AP) — A passenger train derailed in western India on Sunday, killing at least 19 people and injuring more than 100, police said.

The engine and four of the 20 coaches jumped the tracks near Roha station, 110 kilometers (70 miles) south of Mumbai, said police officer Ankush Shinde.

The rescuers used gas cutters to open the derailed coaches to reach those trapped inside. Big cranes were deployed to remove these coaches from the rail track, Shinde said.

Two of the derailed coaches tilted on one side and one overturned, said railway spokesman Anil Kumar Saxena.

The rescue operation was continuing and the death toll was expected to rise, Shinde said.

Saxena said that 123 injured passengers, some of them in serious condition, were taken to a hospital.

The cause of the derailment was not immediately known. Rail authorities ordered an investigation into the accident, Saxena said.

Train movement in the area was suspended as the derailed coaches and the rescue operation blocked an adjacent track as well.

Railway accidents are common in India, which has one of the world's largest train networks and serves 20 million passengers a day. Most accidents are blamed on poor maintenance and human error.

It says demolish, but the reason given in the smaller letters is that it was unauthorised/illegally built.

^^^I couldn't find the right words yesterday, but the small words could imply that the building has not been approved by government, or that it is not up to standards/building codes and could even pose hazards.(like not being earthquake or fire proven)

That folks is NOT Freedom to Worship, and say what you will, it bodes ill for the Chinese People, particularly those of Faith in Christ, my brothers in the Lord. It grieves me to the depths of my soul to see this happen now in China, many of us on the Sino Defense Forum are believers, one of the reasons I/we care so deeply for the Chinese people and desire to see them succeed, May God protect those faithful and true to their loving Master! My eyes are brimming with tears, not for the building, but for God's people!

The exact wording is more closer to 'construction that is against regulation'.
I mean unauthorized as in the authorities were not properly notified, which would make it illegal in any case. However, building that were previously legally cleared for construction but later found out to have fail the regulation could also have those 4 words pasted on them.

Why not just say that the building "is not code compliant" and when asked what the code is , one can recite dozens for them to choose from.
