This is directly translated from Chinese but 'no do, no die' sums up this very well.

It makes me angry when I hear on the news the underhanded blame being put on China for the outsourcing of jobs in the US. US corporations are part of the blame for wanting to get the lowest price labor they can get and still get good quality goods. The other is the American labor unions trying to squeeze management for every penny they can. These two factors have cost the US an untold number of jobs.
It's called greed.
That's pretty harsh Equation. I believe Jesus is Lord and I'm no freak. You certainly aree entetled to your opinion.
The Bible teaches Christians..
Jesus was speaking to all who believe when he made this statement.. not just Peter.
About pastors ,ministers and elders of the church the Bible states;
The man is doing what he should..
To the contrary, when reading the article, he sounds like a fairly upstanding citizen of China who has objected to government activities regarding Christian churches in the region, including the removal of a cross.
He spoke out against it, and arranged protests...so he was arrested and detained.
As I said before, true Christians do not believe in forcing others to become Christian. Such behavior would be incompatible with Christ's teachings and would not produce true, heart felt Christians at any rate.
But they do believe in sharing their message with others with love and reason, so others can decide for themselves.
In nations where that very act is either illegal, or viewed badly, they run up against persecution, mistreatment, arrest, and imprisonment for doing so.
It sounds more like that is what is happening to me.
Not all Christian are self righteous, to me since this guy is a pastor with an ulterior motive he doesn't want to separate the church from state. He wants to make the church or cult AS a state. No thank you buddy.
I see him as a potential David Karesh type. Dangerous and self righteous using religion as a weapon of fear as to control and not peace. Heck he gives Christian a bad rap. A cult leader bending on trying to change the country his way.

The Chinese Embassy in Turkey has confirmed that three Chinese engineers have been kidnapped by militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). China and Turkey are cooperating to rescue the hostages.
Sounds to me like another one of those self righteous religious freaks whose goal is trying to change China into a certain religion all because they hated the government.
From what I have read...he is not even close to that, Bryon.I see him as a potential David Karesh type. Dangerous and self righteous using religion as a weapon of fear as to control and not peace. Heck he gives Christian a bad rap. A cult leader bending on trying to change the country his way.
Jeff, they voted their parliament from candidates vetted by the occupation forces and they wrote a constitution with the "help"of the same occupation forces. The prime minister who is now being replaced was selected by the occupation forces.Delft, the people of Iraq voted in their own government and built their own constitution, which is more government building than they ever had before. Remember those purple fingers? hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis voting in the face of terror death threats?
Now, they just went through a change of government, based on their constitution. This s indicative of great progress over having a depot for a rule.
Admittedly, their condition remains very tenuous...and they ave to become more inclusive of all their citizens if they can, but to say their government ha not been rebuilt is just not so.
Your modern procession plant depends on a reliable transport infrastructure better than available but you would begin by selecting an area to build it that produces much more than a fraction of a percent of the raw material. Iraq probably needs more and smaller plants for this function but someone had a nice design and built it, possibly with cheap but non-Iraqi labor, at a very nice profit.Delft, any modern processing plant as to have product shipped to it from elsewhere to function. If product cannot get there, then it will not operate properly. This is probably not an issue of corruption whatsoever, and much more another sad result of sectarian violence.
As it is, this is not world or breaking "news." This is you cherry picking events in Iraq, and putting an ant-US slant on them. Anyone can look at a half filled glass and either call it half full, or half empty. Usually it is either a matter of perspective, or personally held beliefs.
Lets leave that out of this thread please.
I remember hearing about a movie about Wall Street that contained the slogan (?) "Greed is good".It makes me angry when I hear on the news the underhanded blame being put on China for the outsourcing of jobs in the US. US corporations are part of the blame for wanting to get the lowest price labor they can get and still get good quality goods. The other is the American labor unions trying to squeeze management for every penny they can. These two factors have cost the US an untold number of jobs.

Initially, there is some truth to this, as you would expect from any force that had just ousted a tyrant.Jeff, they voted their parliament from candidates vetted by the occupation forces and they wrote a constitution with the "help"of the same occupation forces. The prime minister who is now being replaced was selected by the occupation forces.
The political system introduced by US was based on divide and rule, playing sectarian groupings against each other, and that has now led to disaster.
