To quote experts in the business aviation business on China's business jet market:

“The money to fly is there and the desire to be luxurious is there so they’re spending on charter

China’s private jet fleet more than tripled in size from 2009 to 2013 because of surging demand from individuals and finance houses such as Minsheng, which jumped into the leasing business.

Six years ago the chairman may have bought a private jet because his buddies had one,” he said, “Now most people are using them for genuine business purposes because of the increased productivity and efficiency they offer

End of discussion.

To quote experts in the business aviation business on China's business jet market:

Let us see is China the only growing market?

Africa is rated as one of the fastest growing continents globally in terms of international traffic, with an average growth rate of 6,1% compared to the global average of 5,8%, and 7,9% and 6,9% for the Middle East and Asia Pacific, respectively, while Europe, Latin America and North America are projected to record lower international passenger growth of 5%, 5,8% and 4,9%, respectively.

was I wrong about people buying hours not buying the aircraft?
According to people in the industry, there is a seismic shift among the super-rich business elite towards the latter.

And that should be seen as a “wake-up call” to private-jet operators, according to Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of VistaJet.

“Stop buying air planes, just buy the hours you need. It is part of a big trend towards a shared economy globally,” said Flohr. “It’s a wake-up call that needs to be very loud and clearly communicated: that it is a corporate waste to buy an air plane.”

To my understanding from the information provided by Flight Global there is one problem with PRC aviation which is all air routes/control within mainland china is regulated by PLAAF and only allocate a limited amount of slots to airliners and even less to the private sector within tight routes. So unlike the US or Europe you can't file a flight plan on minute's notice and leave as soon as the run way is freed.
In such a highly regulated air space with few open slots for flight, I do not think there will be much market for private jets.

China Private Jet Sales Fall As Government Makes Anti-Corruption Push

Sales of business jets declined for a third consecutive year in China, thanks in part to President Xi Jinping’s government anti-corruption campaign, which has cut sales of big-ticket luxury goods across the world's second largest economy. The decline comes even as China opens its airspace to more private aircraft, making it easier for pilots to obtain private licenses and to approve flights. But inadequate infrastructure and rules limiting private-jet departures and arrivals have also put a dent in lofty business-jet sales projections.

“The industry has lost all business from government officials as well as state-owned enterprise executives. But the most critical factor is the lack of infrastructure,” Eric Wong, vice-chairman of NetJets China Business Aviation,

in a report published Tuesday.

China’s nascent market for business jets began taking off in 2009, peaking two years later at 55 purchases from Chinese firms, up from less than 10 in 2008, aviation data analytics firm

reported. The growth led to predictions the country’s business-jet fleet would hit 350 by 2020.

But since 2011, sales have dropped, just 35 last year. China’s current business-jet inventory is about 350 planes, a sliver of the roughly 12,000 business jets that operate in the United States where

Hmmm... I can see that you have moved your goal post again...

Let us see is China the only growing market?

That has never been your argument. Your argument has always been that China is too poor to be an effective market for business jets. As seen below:

China today at per capita level is much more poor than the USA, while i can say flying an A-320 is cheaper i can see the Chinese have a Market but for private jets, i do not think so, operate a Phenom or Learjet is much more expensive, so i do not see such market yet

We have never argued about whether China is THE only market for business jet. We had been arguing whether China can be A business jet market. As your quote clearly indicates, you have insisted that China is too poor to be a business jet market at all.

was I wrong about people buying hours not buying the aircraft?

Uhh... that's not your original argument either. Your initial argument has been it's so expensive to even rent a business jet, let alone buying them. This was why you painstakingly listed hourly rental rates of various private jets as shown below:

Choosing Your Private Aircraft
Private jet hourly rental rates begin at just $1700 USD for a four-passenger turbo prop and go all the way up to $23,000 USD per hour for a VIP airliner with multiple showers and bedrooms. To find the right aircraft for you, read on for an overview of hourly price ranges, passenger capacity, flight range and air speed for each aircraft category.

I see that, because I found evidence that the Chinese has been renting business jets like crazy, you felt compelled to move your goal post again... So now renting business jets is easy and cheap, I guess???

Not sure if you are familiar with competition debating. But when your opponent start asking weak and rhetorical questions like "was I wrong.......", that basically means he/she has realized that they have lost the debate and is desperately trying to save face.

Well, based on one of the articles that I cited above, it used to be an issue. However, with that said, even back in the 80's, China never prevented business jets from flying in China. They just provided an "escort". And it is no longer a problem.

why do not you stop thinking China is the USA and Texas?

I understand why rich nations in Example Germany, England has less private jets than Brazil or Mexico, and why China does not need and will not have as many private jets, I know you want to say China is like the USA, but you are wrong.

China is a communist country, for starters, like i did mention and show, Drug dealers in Mexico have private jets for their business, thus a poor nation like Mexico has more private jets than China, who gets private jets too? Corrupt officials yes of course Corrupt officials, Mexico has a real problem with corruption, thus corrupt officials have private jets too.

You are too stubborn and proud, even rich people these days rent their Jets, A Hong Kong based company Vistajet is saying it.

Why the Chinese are going to pay USD $27000 for a 3 hours flight? why they will pay USD $48 million dollars for a single jet?

Of course, no one specially a rich business man will do that, they are usually cheap and frugal, they do not want to pay such things for their employees, but a corrupt official will, thus the Chinese government will do the same put in Jail corrupt government officials owning jets.

You can not see that because you want to equate China with the USA, China is Asian, it has another mentality, I know it, I live in Asia and I lived in the USA.

Until five days ago she was one of the most powerful women in Latin America. The presidents of Mexico ate by hand, and the authorities turned a blind eye to their opulent pace of life, which had little to do with the salaries of the Mexican masters they represented. This has been the case for the past two decades. But today, Elba Esther Gordillo (Comitán, Chiapas, 1945), or simply the Master, remains in prison, dethroned as one of the great powers of Latin America. The former void of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE), which has been battered in a thousand political battles, has not resisted the iron fist in the silk glove of President Enrique Peña Nieto for 90 days.

Gordillo's imprisonment for appropriating about 150 million euros has unleashed all the grudges accumulated against her since 1990, when she became the head of SNTE, one of the most powerful unions in Latin America. Accustomed to traveling by private plane, moving from mansion to mansion, going to the cosmetic surgeon, shopping in the United States and wearing Prada, Gucci and Chanel, Gordillo must have suffered when she discovered that her police file, with the typical front photographs and in profile, did not stop circulating on the internet, along with a multitude of parody montages.

Yes.. Corrupt officials that try to hide their wealth buy showy private jets because communist big brother is watching.

Do you have have any idea how dumb that last post sounds? Mexico, and most of Latin america is way more corrupt than china.

China has the potential for getting private jets only is certain criteria are met. And they are open air space and business need.

I take a company private jet twice a week, I don't see what's the big deal. It is for business needs. Cost the company way less to own the plane over long run than buy commercial or rent.

and where in China do you live? cause I am sure you live there, work there, and your communist boss let you fly it 2 times a week, i guess you fly on a US $9000 dollars an hour flight time jet, sure sure you live in China specially with that English proficiency ;)

Delta CEO: We will not pay the 300% tariff on new Bombardier C Series jets

airliners.

"We believe we will get the planes at our agreed contract price," Delta CEO Ed Bastian told reporters and analysts during the airline's earnings call on Wednesday.
Bastian said his airline still fully intended to take the delivery of the Canadian-built airliners, adding that he was prepared to delay the delivery of its first CS100 jet, set for early 2018, to sort out the deal.

As a result, Delta and Bombardier now face a possible 299.45% tariff on each of the 75 Bombardier C Series aircraft Delta ordered in 2016. The Department of Commerce is expected to make a final decision on the matter in December.

Earlier this year, Boeing filed a complaint with the federal government claiming that its business was harmed by Bombardier using Canadian government subsidies to give Delta a price substantially below the cost of building the planes.

Delta and Bombardier have both pushed back on this claim, arguing that Bombardier's planes do not compete with any Boeing products. Bastian has noted several times that Boeing stopped producing the 717-200, a 100-to-150-seat jet comparable to the C Series, more than a decade ago. Delta is the world's largest operator of the 717.

Further, Delta also said Boeing's only proposed alternative to the C Series was a batch of secondhand Brazilian Embraer E190 regional jets taken as a trade-in from Air Canada.
