05/31/2014.- Two Royal Canadian Air Force F-18 Hornet jet fighters fly over the Romanian Military Airbase in Campia Turzii, 425 kilometers north-west of Bucharest, Romania, during NATO reassurance measures on 31 May 2014. In the air domain, NATO has increased its air activity in Central and Eastern Europe by increased training activities over Poland and Romania. The Royal Canadian Air Force deployed an Air Task Force of six CF-18 Hornet fighter aircraft to the Campia Turzii air base, where they arrived on 07 May to train with their Romanian counterparts. The six CF-18 fighters from 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron, based at 3 Wing Bagotville in the Province of Quebec, may later join NATO air control missions in Eastern Europe
