Soldiers with Russian and Crimean patches and pro-Russian militia members guard outside the Belbek airbase after Russian troops took control over it, outside Sevastopol, Crimea, on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Russian forces used at least four armored vehicles to break into an air base here, seizing control of one of the last Ukrainian military outposts in Crimea. The Russian war industry had recently demonstrated its most recent individual combat exposure suit and digitized combat system. The new equipment will make the Russian soldiers get rid of the old style bulletproof vest and puttee. Soldier who provides the new-style combat system, will become extremely dangerous artificial intelligence semimechanization soldier. In brief a few words, the Russian force soldier armor protection level can add 1000 points.

Well Already I detest the translation.
I mean "extremely dangerous artificial intelligence semimechanization" Are the Russians Buying CYNET? introducing a army of T800 terminators?
" the Russian force soldier armor protection level can add 1000 points" Is war a Video Game now? instan Russian Cheat adds 1000 free points? or is this Who's line is it any way and everything's made up and the points don't matter?
Since I dont see any exoskelitons or improved armor plates I am guessing the latter and all they have done is repackage

do you know how much gear the Russian Army has made over the decades? They have whole regions filled with Wear houses of equipment! So does the US but Russia has it worse, Why? because during the bad old days the Russian economy was almost All War industry and They produced on a Quota system. that's Why Russia floated even after the fall of the Russian Economy. Worst comes to Worse Sell Sell sell. Crazy Ivan's Used Tank Dealership Where Every thing must GO! Our Prices are so Low You'll Think Were drinking to much Vodka!

First Image, Hello Objective force warrior.
Head to knees, Eyes and brains.
Mesh Helmet cover, some people complain about helmet covers, They have a function they protect the helmet from scratches that would weaken the protection offered. the Helmet looks to be 6B47 or variant there in. this is loosely the latest Russian equivalent of the American Mich. the goggles look good may offer some degree of ballistic protection.
modular looking ballistic vest with PALS. looks like it's set with a blast collar. and shoulder/deltoid axillary protection system. might be a good option for roof gunners. Pals or Pouch Attachment Ladder System is the web stripes that are on the system it allows mounting of well pouches and the like to the Armor or back packs or what ever. both the Russians and Chinese have adopted it as well as most of Nato. Newer American Armor is moving away from Added webbing and instead using a stronger fabric on the carrier laser cut with slots that conform to PALs.
Note the Sleeves on his jacket. I am guessing the Jacket might be fire resistant or just outer wear but it has zipper heat vents this is a feature found in some of the newer american tactical gear. Gloves look to have hard knuckles.
Next the Trousers look like they have a modified zipper probably for the wearer to have a easier time taking a leak. there are a added set of pockets on the outside of the pants just at the bottom of the slash pockets. probably for a knife or pen. the knees look like they might have knee pad inserts.
This stuff reminds me of 2008 Crye precision. except the Grey... It's fairly neutral and can work as some degree of camo but it's a bit of a let down.

note Coms gear on this guy... whole lotta armor too.
Okay his Helmet looks like a variant of the same one seen on the first guy but this one has a different cover. I am not sure if he is chubby or if the helmet harness and Coms gear has forced his face that way. And it has rail systems attached to the sides. Thats a feature that has been offered to the US DOD but not yet adopted widely. It allows mounting of lights, Lasers, Cameras, and other goodies including some types of Commo. the armor is a diffrent model but the jacket looks like the same as the first guy. note PALS webbing on fore arms. the vest looks a little less restrictive which is nice the collar might be the same just this guy has his up. the DAPS is much more conventional. but offers the came coverage. groin protector is more plain but then again the idea of adding weight to a groin protector seems a bit ah... uncomfortable to me. old school AK skelital stock modern rail system. trousers have PALS webbing, I am guessing Knee pads and perhaps zipper heat vents too.
Is that some kind of Sheild?

Airborne or Speznats.
The Helmet reminds me of the Opscore FAST complete with side rails and NOD mount. note he is sporting coms gear probably allows some degree of hearing protection. the shades are cool probably ballistic.

New Camouflage pattern it's not CCE or Surpat or any of the Usual suspects better shot of the Jacket and vest new designs? liiks lighter but lacks most of the PALS looks like a better choice for Spec ops or leadership roles. note the same groin protector as the last grey guy.

The Advantage of this gear set should be clear here. Flexibility and weight. This guy is light and fast compared to the slower more rigid Grey guys

Here we have the three seen before and a fourth, note the hexigon's on his knees and shoulders, I don't have a clue what those are.

Okay Conventional with slight update. The AK sight is the critical factor one. It's a Russian Thermal sight. Army Reco posted a video on this last year. The other guy has a ear bud in his ear and is likely looking at a tablet seeing what the shooter see's this is basic Ratnik

Interesting follow-up on the flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, the modernized Krivak Frigate, the Hetman Sahaydachny, U130, that supposedly defected to Russia when the Russians entered Crimea.

At the time, that frigate was returning from conducting anti piracy operations first with Combined Task Force-151 and later with Operation Atalanta since September 2013, working closely alongside NATO and EU nation navies On the way back, it was reported to have defected to Russia. But then, on March 5th it passed through the Bosphourus flying the Ukrainian Flag and the Ukrainian Defence Ministry released a statement that the frigate, the Hetman Sahaydachny, U130, had reached home waters near Odessa, not returning to its former homeport of Sevastapol, Crimea.

The flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, the Krivak Class frigate Hetman Sahaydachny, passed through the Turkish Straits and is today in the Black Sea. Despite conflicting reports (see our accompanying coverage) the Hetman Sahaydachny was flying the Ukrainian flag, indicating the ship is currently in the hands of pro-Kiev sailors rather than defecting to the pro-Russian autonomous region of Crimea.

More pictures of her passing through the Bosphourus flying the Ukrainian flag:

Russian navy sailors stand still during a flag-raising ceremony at the deck of 'Suzdalets' (IPC-118) - small ASW ship project 1124 M moored in the bay of the Crimean city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, March 26, 2014.
