The Swedish Army Ranger Battalion in Arvidsjaur, have the soldiers started to train on bare ground after the long cold winter. Today it’s the turn of the jaeger platoon battle group to start training. - This is nothing new for the soldiers, who must continually sharpen the interaction and training of the soldiers in the Battle Groups, "said platoon commander, Captain Fred Anderson.

The Armed Forces have for years practiced fighting from light vehicles, in particular with training for overseas missions. Right now, officers are trained in detail in the Nordic Battlegroup, NBG, specifically staff personnel of the Core Battalion.

- It is important that we get up all personnel on the staff are trained at such a high a level of knowledge as possible with respect to various combat situations, as it helps provides security for all, "said Lieutenant Colonel Jari Mäkelä, battalion commander.
