Hell ya Stingray tank, I've always remembered those because they're so random (only "light" tank, American but only used by Thais).

Also TE what's your opinion of the FNC? Is it as fine a gun as the FAL?

In the US M8 was meant too replace the M551 Sheridan A tank for Airborne forces. but larger numbers of makers simply took existing APC's and mounted a tank gun on top. see Mobile Gun systems or tank destroyers like the Stryker MGS the Centauro 8x8, Ect... Ect...

@ FIN As for The FNC I think It's a weapon that had the potential too fallow it's legendary Father but fell in the wrong time. By the point of it's release the AR15 was queen of the exports,Where the FAL made it's epic. Even today AR15 is the measuring stick from which a modern Assault rifle is gauged It suffered due too not being ready for NATO trials and later fell demand. not quite a total failure It's the right gun at the wrong time.

those Aussies are wearing either the Tiered Body Armour System (TBAS) or the Modular Combat Body Armour System (MCBAS) Sadly I can not tell which as I have little knowledge of the systems. I can say that they are wearing Disruptive Pattern Desert Uniform gen 4 uniforms Sometimes called Clown Suits by American Forces due too there passing resemblance.
