The mainstream media has been forced to rely on Iranian official sources, and as such, they have consistently underestimated the size of the disturbances in Iran, the number of dead and the amount of government brutality.

No doubt..I heard a report on FOX while channel surfing that tanks were seen in the street.

I'll post more photos of the "disturbance" in the next day or sooner.

TerraN_EmpirE !! What do you think of the Iraqi "Kit"?? and how they now appear to be trained?
"Room for improvement" most of the Iraqi kit is surplus US forces with reconditioned AK's soon too be M16's and M4's much like the Afghan kit it's a major improvement over there older systems seen under Saddam, upgrades are possible in the future and likely. However it all depends on how the New Iraq plays ball in the future. Although it would be unpopular in my view if the Iraqi's really wanted too get a good force on there hands they would have too start learning not only from the US but also the Israeli's who are masters of hybrid warfare and special ops. Of course there more likely too tag team the Saudi's who are Okay but second best in the region. there training is still fresh too them as they just went from a "Which end do bullets come out" Force too US style Course in Basic training.
keeping things in perspective the New Iraqi army has a long way too go still, the Iraqi Air force is a area of need in terms of massive growth they have some transports but there true operational capability's won't show till the 2020's they will bee adding needed fighters and COIN aircraft the addition of Cobra or Apaches Would do nicely but they seem too have ordered utility choppers instead. the Iraqi NAvy is in the same boat so too speak they have ships believe it or not but are barely a task force of pickets. overall there grade is incomplete
