The main campaign requires you to conquer 50 provinces and control Rome. So I guess you could always leave taking out Rome and the other Roman factions to the end.PiSigma said:never heard about bliz 2.. but rome is totally mind blowing. the tactics you can use in there is just swt. different tactics actually have different results on the troops and enemy. i can win a battle of 500 vs 2000 and not take a single casulty if i play it out right. the game is just brilliant. the history of it is not as actuate, but it's close enough to the real thing. it's good that there's so many fraction you can play, especially since they pretty much all have completely different units (except for the roman ones, they have the same). i pretty much beat the game with like 6 fractions already... too addictive.. problem is, i don't know how you set it up to conquer the whole map, once i conquer maybe 60% of the map, they tell me i win and can't continue anymore.
actually, that's not possible. you're gonna have some casualty no matter what, even if you use archers and the enemy just stand there let you shoot them, you're still gonna have casualties because the archers in the back of the formation can sometimes hurt those in the front (yes, very annoying). but it's just that it doesn't show on the final stat page.PiSigma said:i can win a battle of 500 vs 2000 and not take a single casulty if i play it out right.
PiSigma said:ooo.. that's how it works.. i always take out italy pretty soon in the game since it's in the middle of the map, very strategic place, so i guess that's why i can never conquer the whole place.
