haven't played this in months but still have the game installed
heh for me i rather go with the airforce general and do the apache/commanche rush.. MASSIVE like 50 of those apaches

or the infantry general and do a massive wave of soldiers.. like 10-20 barracks per game

GLA is not bad, all you need to do it know how to use them, my favorite for them the the demo general.. build 5 demo trucks are arm them with high explosive, do a burial attack to distract the base bring the the demo trucks from the front and self denonate.. it's more powerfull than a nuke

You know what this game reminds me of? BATTLEFIELD 2 (except no advance weapons like that of C&C)... everybody these days are making China Vs Arabs (not intended to be racist) Vs US
Personally, I perfer the U.S. Superweapons and Chinese Infrantry Generals. I just love watching my opponent's air force and tank columns getting ripped to shreds by Minigunners and Tank Hunters, and blowing his base up with Alpha Auroras. Also, for the AF guy, sticking 8 rocket guys in the Combat Chinook is most fun. :)

I think the superweapons general is way unbalanced. She gets the EMP patriot, blows up any plane with 1 shot, disables any vehicle. With maybe a dozen EMP patriots and some snipers she's virtually invulnerable to ANY attack, except by superweapons. But then she's the superweapon general so naturally she wins any superweapon war hands down. It's really unfair

i agree, by sacrificing some 20 Migs I could burn a hole through the patrios but for some stupid reason the few that survive emp 2 tanks and the whole colomn of 30 tanks can move forward anymore, they cant seem to be able to mvoe AROUND the emped vehical.

I think the idea of napalm is really stupid. Who still uses napalm? I was angered a bit on the tiananmin attack. I mean come on, what teorrist attack could whipe out a whole army that quickly? It made no sense, and geting a nuke into China espeacially into beijing is near impossible. No wonder Generals is banned in China, well at least China gets the overlord (highly unrealistic). Ever noticed that the battle master looks sorta like the Type 59?

Actually flame thrower tanks have existed since World War 2, for anti tank and anti infantry purposes.

That is true (They were especialy handy on Iwo-Jima, assuming they could get them up the volcanic sand piles) but famethrowers are also extremely dangerous and unweildy to use, even in tanks.

Also, contrary to popular belief, the Flamethrower is not banned by international law. Only the U.S military has discontinued their use, as they were worried that the public found them inhumane.

I used to want this game, but alot of what I saw made it seem a little too fantastic for my tastes. Plus, the game's representation of China sounded like one gigantic fifties-era steriotype.

i'm pretty sure the straw hats were meant to show that they were in Hong Kong, meant to be more cartonish then realistic.

It looks a tad like an improved T-69. EA doesnt appear to have caught on that western turrets is the new fad in PLA tank design.

Yep, during the military parade they seeked it into Tiananmin
The superweapons general is all defense though... take out their power plants and there goes all their defense weapons..
My favorite superweapon is the scud...
for C&C they need to add in a navy

yes the scud storm is the best however the chemical/bilogical of the GLA seems to do good damage aginst tanks some how?

also their rocket buggy seems to have a incrediable range compare with other weapons

Probably its because its acid, you know, corrosive. it probably melts the metal or something. I would still go with China's nukes simply because they are highly effective. 3 of them can pretty much severly cripple a base.
