American get influence all over the world not only because of economy and technology. They got it after winning massively in both wars that weaken everybody else and get them beneficial treaty. China is lacking a war to prove who is boss. But Russia is doing it for them and what they are doing now is kinda beneficial for China, by accelerating the demise of the west.

I don't have any dislike for Ukraine, they fought on the same side as us against nazis in ww2. But well, throwing in their lot completely with NATO you can see how Zelensky, has fallen very low in all types of behavior.

The war in Ukraine prevents NATO from starting a far greater and more terrible war. The fact is that NATO encroaches on China's border and this was American aggression which was completely unprovoked. Ukraine is a sacrificial pawn to weaken NATO at 0 cost to Chinese lives or economy. That is just smart geopolitics on the part of Beijing. They didn't start the cold war, America did.

This is a war that the USA is not going win. They are in the edge of economic destruction and they don’t even seem to care. Not to mention they have openly warned both China and Russia about their end game, giving them not only a heads up but also an incentive to wanting to give the USA a first hand experience as to what a hypersonic nuke can do to someone once they figure out which target to strike for maximum damage.

Kiev regime forces like Azov and Kraken are ideological descendants of Stepan Bandera. He was allied to Hitler and there were Ukrainians from his side fighting for the Axis in the Waffen-SS. When you see in WW2 movies civilians throwing flowers celebrating Nazi troops invasion of the USSR, that happened in West Ukraine, where the movement originates from. But yes many Ukrainian troops fought and died against the Nazis. Including in the German encirclement of over half a million Soviet troops at Kiev early in the war. Most of these Soviet troops died in captivity under horrible Nazi concentration camps with no food, water, or shelter. You can tell which stripe the main government is, when they renamed a street in Kiev which was named after Mikhail Kirponos, a Ukrainian born Soviet general who fought in the encirclement in Kiev, to Vsevolod Petriv, a general who fought in the Ukrainian-Soviet War.

I don't necessarily agree with Russia's stance on the war and do sympathize with the Ukrainian people, who are getting their country pounded in the dust. I also am in the camp of thinking the Russian military is kind of a farce.

But in the end, all that matters is China's security. Russia is keeping NATO and the US distracted with its adventure. It has given some valuable lessons in that in an invasion of Taiwan the only thing that would really decide the course of it, is if the US or Japan decided to intervene. For however "strong" Taiwan's defenses get, supply is everything in war and its allies will not be able to supply it under a PLA naval blockade.

So really, when all's said and done, let Russia duke it out with NATO. All sides get weakened, while China grows stronger, simple as that.

Recently, Hollywood is crap, and consequently American influence in the world is falling.
You're really saying this while everyone in the world right now is going gaga over Avatar 2? Including SK, the country that most said was going to steal the crown from Hollywood after Parasite won Best Picture, but this year only two Korean movies were in the country's top 10 highest grossing?

Avatar 2 seems to be the only good Hollywood thing on though since the rest of the stuff is utter crap. I tried to find something good to watch and couldn’t find anything since I don’t really enjoy shows like avatar. So far, in Australia anyway, the movie scene isn’t all that great compared to what it was in the past and it really does show. Maybe it’s deferent elsewhere, please let me know what it is like where you are at

Compared to the 80s and early 90s classics, Hollywood is crap. Hollywood will never make a movie as good as say Home Alone and Jurassic Park.
That's your opinion buddy, global box office numbers including China's tell a different tale.
