Japan can resolve this low population problem by simply just opening up it's borders allow more to immigrants to settle in Japan. But than again that would "dilute the Japanese race" especially when the locals starts to have children by marrying immigrants (even if they became Japanese citizens). Many Japanese politicians have a problem with this for some reason or another. That explains the weird proposition.

Integrating immigrants into Japanese society is certainly an effective way to combat against declining population. Many other industrial countries are using this strategy to improve their respective birth rates.

The Japanese categorize Japanese who weren't born in Japan as a lesser class. With that mentality, they're not going easily accept non-Japanese immigrants. The Japanese will probably go through extraordinary measures before they would ever allow liberal immigration policies.

OUCH! And you thought your visit to the dentist was bad.:p

When Ashik Gavai began struggling to bite and chew due to severe swelling on the right side of his face, he took himself to see a doctor.
After a number of tests on the 17-year-old from Buldhana, in western India, doctors discovered an unusual growth on one of his bottom molars and booked him in for surgery.
“Initially, it was not very clear what it could be and so we decided to go in for surgery yesterday (Monday),” Dr. Sunanda Dhivare-Palwankar, head of the hospital’s dental department, told India Times.
As they got to work on fixing the molar they discovered hundreds of tiny teeth growing inside the tooth, which had grown to the size of a small marble.
“At the final count, we had a total of 232 small pearlies, all independently developing as teeth, coming out of that lone molar,” Dr. Dhivare-Palwankar said.

Do you remember Möwen, the jet powered kite from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind?

Well a group of dilettante actually developed an actual flying model and what's more, they are going to fly a manned maiden flight.
Here is a video of testing runway.

The man said he had no idea his penis would be amputated when he went into hospital for the routine procedure

Ouch: The alleged victim says he "never gave consent" for his penis to be amputated
A man claims surgeons amputated his PENIS without permission.

The alleged victim says he went in for routine circumcision surgery and awoke to find the organ had been completely removed.

The man and his wife are now suing two doctors and Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, according to the Birmingham News.

The lawsuit claims: "When the plaintiff ... awoke from his aforesaid surgical procedure, his penis was amputated.

Good for Drill and Ceremonial practice for the military and police units to practice their marching.:p But it won't be permanent as I read the article it was hastily painted after resurfacing to impress the officials, after that back to the curve. As you can see the paint looks thin, therefore easy to wipe off and repaint. I don't know why what's the big deal. Are the media trying to find any single default in China just to poke fun at the government?

There's certainly something missing to this story. I don't believe anybody would be dumb enough to think their leaders would be impressed by square tracks at a sports stadium.
