Oh god, I should reconsider my vacation to Finland. maybe Estonia is much better for me. and maybe I don't want to meet you after allGollevainen said:This beeing naked seems to be quite issue to nonfinnish. I have no proplems to go naked to public sauna with bunch of guys I've ever met before. It doesen't mean anything "gay" or that we like to be naked in other occasions, but just that the Sauna is so natural thing to us. We mens don't have these kind of vain and unrealistic fears about our bodyes that womens in general and finnish gals goes to sauna as eagerly as we mens.
We finns don't find nudity as anyway unfamiliar or disgusting matter. Example of this is movies. In finnish movies if a person goes for example to sauna, it's not edited in anyways or the privat parts being blanked out. It's funny to see how in american movies (french movies are completly different things ) some clothes are always left on or the leg is in very protective position or some body parts are just being fuzz...After all nudity is the most natural thing to us humans.
Is the whole saunominen taking place in a public bath-ish place? Is there a minimum age? (such as you have to be 18 or 19 to go to a pub)
