Video/Computer Games

Keen as

Graphics could be a bit better, and they have 054A's launching LACM's or rockets all at once, but that's forgivable. Looks pretty awesome.

So who are they fighting against? And I LOL'd at the "loyalty to the party" at the beginning of the video and at the constant reciting of propaganda slogans.

All in all, it's a pretty poor trailer.

Fighting against the US I believe. The gameplay footage were pretty good, and considering it's a semi official thing I think it was an alright trailer.

@ Bltizo, solarz;

To make it politically right: this is a "training software" instead of "game", there is no "civilian retail version" yet.

It is for the sake of politically right, the game is traditioning "red Vs blue" (all PLAs) style, no american or animals were abused during the process.

"Politically Right" is the No. 1 doctrine of PLA, you can find it anywhere there is a banner of slogans.

Previously, they use Counter-Strick 1.5 as the "training software".

Thus I say, it is a good start.

^Why create Weibo when Twitter serves that purpose just fine?

Its capitalism, if someone does something, there have to be at least three companies trying to beat them at their own game, that's how the system works.

So it's like the Chinese version of America's Army? Hmm... just wait until the hackers start to notice this, lol

It seems like you can also drive tanks and *maybe* fly helicopters, so I would say it's more like BF2 as opposed to AA, although I guess the concept behind its development is probably similar to that of AA.

Only just started playing ARMA 2 and am a huge Battlefield fan ( Can't wait for the new release) Can anyone recommend a good RTS? I have got a new gaming rig and have been away from PC gaming for a while.

What kind of RTS are you looking for?
starcraft 2 for the traditional high APM clickfest
company of heroes for WWII tactical strategy
world in conflict for modern tactical strategy without the economic building aspect
any of the total war series for epic sized tactical maneuvers
sins of a solar empire for your galactic conquest needs
ruse for intelligence and counter intelligence games

i guess this one will be called CA? china's army? for some reason im reminded of the red guards and their troop crawlers in CnC. i'm starting to wonder, which are the remaining units in the china faction that is more powerful than their reality counterparts. (the mig is already outdated, as are the red guards)
