I just got a Dell Studio XPS with an AMD six core processor with an ATI Radeon HD 5870 last November. Before all my high graphic intense games used around 75% of my processor. The very same games I can max out on everything and it uses only about 20%. I can render videos and play my games at the same time with no effect on game play. Modern Warfare 3 they just displayed at E3 looks like it going to be fun. I just hope the mission games last longer.

and although we can only expect so much from cod mw series, i hope it can be a bit more authentic...which is more fun. seeing a eagle slowly flying by a little bird and then launching what seems to be AIM-7 Sparrows at the castle in the beginning of the Gulag mission is a bit weird. I also think Soap and friends were lucky the fools on the castle top didn't know how to operate the SAMs that they've installed there.

if i play protoss, i like either zealot rushes, or massing carriers with arbitor coverage before sc2. if i had time i'd also go for dark templar rushes if i can afford to, against terran.

in sc2 i havent had time to play it seriously, although i'd still prefer protoss and terran

I'm currently pondering getting a new machine as well. Right now I'm using a 4 year old Laptop wich is still ok for on the go stuff and occasional gaming. But I'd like to get a new desktop. However, I'm going to build that myself, the complete system options like dell for example, always have something on them I don't like, and they're not cheaper, IMO.
I'm looking at a Z68 chipset mainbord with an i5 2500K, a gtx 560 Ti, 8GB ram, and I guess a small SSD for OS and programs stuff + a RAID 0 HDD combo for the rest.

Game wise I also like the CoD MW & Black Ops series. And I also think the original one was the most realistic one regarding the feel of the gameplay. The later ones got a little more accardish by making them more action laden. Running around just spraying the assault rifles a little too much.
I also like the ARMA 2 concept a lot. I really loved the original Operation Flashpoint when it came out years ago. And already waiting for ARMA 3 next year.
I also really liked Far Cry, C&C generals as well as the original Red Alert. I further like Civ 4 with all the mods.
I haven't had any Consoles since the first Play Station, but think that Gran Tourismo was a magnificant game, and still is.

arma2 is what they said to be the most realistic military game out there, although i don't know about america's army. and yes i got sick of running around shooting while carrying so little ammo, while endless streams of reinforcements kept coming with heartbeat sensors and stuff.

as for ur rig, i feel u should build ur own. it's more personal too, as u can add what u want and customize it, even to the shell of the tower.

when im playing civ4,5,6, i'd create customized maps where i would land on a continent that i'd created, with all the resources and everything twitched to my favor. i'd have villages all offering me technologies so i skipped stone age and went right into medieval after the first 5 rounds or so. if advance is fast enough, i'd be a hyperpower with all settlements completely modernized as large cities with huge population and in the contemporary era by 1770 AD or much earlier, perhaps 700 AD or something. i actually tried to build up my military to be bigger than the US, but it's simply impossible because it's too expensive.

Bronze league! haven't played in ages
i'm quite excited for D3, although i've never played the first 2 games, and i would much prefer 3rd person view as opposed to an isometric top view. =/

ARMA2 is nice, on a good server with good communications, but the game takes too long sometimes. often i find myself want a quick game or two.

Does anybody play Hold'em Poker at PokerStars.NET? Also, anybody interested in League of Legends? It's free game that's like Defense of the Ancients (DotA). Another nice game is Soldier of Fortune II Double Helix MP Test; it's FPS and free, you can google it for download. Finally, you can check out Cave Story (also free).

Graphics could be a bit better, and they have 054A's launching LACM's or rockets all at once, but that's forgivable. Looks pretty awesome.

Haha... Bltizo, you do read a lot Chinese news.

While friendly overseas people like you comment it "pretty awesome", domestic neysayers bash it as "4 million Yuan BF2 Mod".

It dose not matter (a lot) which engine the game uses, it is FIRST OF THE KIND, supported by DoD of China actually. I say a good start.
