HEH!, Heh! Heh! sure they did, the only thing Boeing ever copied to my knowledge?? was that they began building the AV-8B Harrier as a follow on of the AV-8A, of the British?? LOL

Not to forget the B-57 Intruder, by Martin Aircraft Corporation. The bomber originally designed and developed by English Electric (British aircraft manufacturer).

Was the Canbera an Intruder?? that's NOT ringing any bells,,, I'll do a little research, and I did specify Boeing in my comment, never the less, a great reminder!

Canberra it was, you are correct. I have always identified the aircraft as B-57s. Pakistan Air Force had two squadrons of these fine aircraft, used very effectively in war. Also, NASA has also operated the WB-57 for atmospheric and weather related experiments.

B57 was a licensed production in early versions, later the two evolved differently.
versions were sold on export to Pakistan and Taiwan.

however the claim
Boeing just copied a Chinese UAV design with the connected wings!!
Is a heaping pile. There are 2 box wing drones I know of for the PRC
The Soar Eagle which resembles the US Global hawk but with a Box wing.
and the
The Soar Dragon which also has en elongated spoon shaped fuselage with twin propellers and a box wing.

The Boeing offering for the KQ25 though is lozenge shaped more like the X45.

Here again, we're making assumptions about people caring?? ...
you know, bro, from time to time I'd like to read a post which would interest me LOL
I'm not fed up, just amazed by Trolls, Fenqings, Putinbots (just check

It was only when Vladimir Putin came to power, that the fragmented power base of Russian political system was forged and consolidated. The Russian economy, mired by decades of Soviet abuse, was slowly revived. The state of Russian infrastructure was like a decaying carcass until President Vladimir Putin and his team managed to wrest back control of Russia's natural resources. Which had been usurped by Western backed oligarchs. It was Putin and his team that re-establish State control over the country's resources.

Sorry we disappoint you Master Jura, but to be honest you post some very misleading links/articles by dishonest people who love to hate the F-35, or F-22?? and we don't call you a troll??

I realize I sometimes like posts by people who have a different perspective, and occasionally they return the favor...

I'm a Christian, I'm far from perfect, I try not to "keep score" or hold grudges...

to say I admire your intellect and value your friendship would be an understatement, but every weapon system seems to have its flaws, and things that will require a work-around...

I do hope I didn't "like the above post about Putin",,, I think its terribly ignorant for the Russians or the Chinese to embrace either of their present leaders as DFL??? but sadly neither the Russians nor our Chinese friends are free to publicly criticize their current leadership, so I guess they'll have to try to live with it???

It's interesting how with such ease one labelled as a "troll," "fenqings," or "putinbots." Funny how all that talk about "freedom of speech," "open society," and such are broadcasted all day long by mainstream media. But when someone challenges the narrative, then that person becomes a "bot" of some sort.

I will have you know that I am not a Russian. I am from Pakistan, and I am a Pukhtun (doubt you even comprehend the significance of that in context of Russia). And I do a heck of a lot of research with actual books.

Also, this post of mine which you have quoted, has been posted by me in the Russian thread. In case you weren't aware, this is a US Navy MQ-25 Sting Ray thread. So why drag me into your Russo-phobia, is beyond me.

And then you wonder why the West MSM is losing battles for the hearts and minds of people around the world, on all fronts! Stereotyping "is" that obvious, but then again, it's pointless discussing a subject as this with someone who isn't and won't be willing to listen. And fyi, a discussion constitutes of one "listening" (to understand) to the other's view point, and then responding to it appropriately to find a lead to the subject discussed.

I pointed out my views in respectable and decent language based on the fact that the audience comes from all races, religions, nations and segments of society. And on that note, I ask the question, what does constitute of being a "Russian-troll" or a "Putin-bot"? Is there a yardstick you measure someone's post to make that determination?

I have been a long time poster. People like Asif Iqbal and Tpuang know me from other forums. One thing I reserve always in my credibility, is that I do my best to follow the forum rules here and also to encourage others to do the same.

Well Dizasta, in defense of Brother Jura, he lived under the Red Star of Communism until he was 18,, so when it comes to Russia or Putin, he has far more credibility than any other poster here,, hopefully you can accept his "real world" experience living under communism,, as enough credentials to say anything he wants or desires about living under that black cloud of hopelessness..

Jura's point is that you speak as an outsider,,, I wouldn't assume that I knew much about Pakistan, although from a distance,,, I do feel a kindred with my Pakistani friends,,, and I do consider you a friend, even though honestly, you're being a little unfair to those of us from the West...

It just so happens that my Dad's Cancer Dr, was a very bright Pakistani lad, who used radiation to try to "maliate my Dad's tremendous pain from Multiple Myeloma,,, my Dad was a Lt. Col. in the United States Air Force, and a highly principled and honorable man...to say he thought very highly of Dr. Mamoud would be an understatement, in fact I would say that he felt loved and cared for by Dr Mamoud, and that is something that I will NOT forget.. so peace brother...

I do appreciate your perspective,, it does help me "orient" myself to the real world, and peoples perceptions are just that perceptions,, mine have changed a great deal since I have been a member of SDF

Hello AFB, I would introduce myself to you by my real name, which is Mujahid.

I appreciate your thoughtful reply to my post and I offer my prayers for your father's good health.

If we are to move forward in a discussion, the first thing I would suggest is that we need not hijack the thread and increase the work load of the moderators. I would invite all responses to my last post here, in the Russian military thread or Private Messages.

There are but two things I would like to make clear from the get go.

1. I have stated clearly in previous posts of mine (in the Russian Military thread), the the people of Russia have experienced an incalculable amount of suffering and loss of life at the hands of the Bolshevik-Communist brutal dictators. In that respect, we Pukhtuns share the same pain. As Pukhtuns are the indigenous population of Afghanistan and my parents are from Kandahar. So we know a thing or two about Soviet Communist brutality. My personal affinity toward the Russian people is because within their approach to the people of the world, I do not find any arrogance as I do in the West and their governments. They (Russia) have power, an enormous amount of it, yet they do not throw their weight around as if their are entitled to do so or if it were their birth right. Sorry but that is exactly how the West has behaved for many years. From colonialism to present day.

2. Please bare in mind, that when I am critical of the West, it is a criticism of the Western governments and their heartless, sinister foreign policies. I bare no allegiances to any person or country, what I do stand against is blatant, ignorant and deliberate oppression of people around the world. The people of the West have a responsibility to hold their so-called elected officials accountable for their actions. And they have many reasons to do so, just look at the Middle East and Africa. And isn't accountability not what the whole Democracy mantra really about? So again, its the governments of the West, not the people.

Looking forward to reading your responses in either the Russian military thread or PM. But this is my final response in this thread as I do not wish for us to deviate from this thread which is after all about the U.S Navy's Sting Ray.

P.S: my post here is indicative of one who is NOT a "Russian-troll" or a "Putin-bot."
