Gruenwald)" photo the Japanese Air Self defense force F-2's are in the upper portion of the picture the F2 has a interesting history as it began it's life as GD's Original Entry of a F16 engineering concept too replace and upgrade the USAF F16's with a larger more capable air frame called F-16 Agile Falcon the US dropped the requirement although Block 40 F16's do have some of the same capabilities in favor of the F35

Gunnery Sgt. Manuel Crisologo, the staff noncommissioned officer-in-charge of quality assurance for Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 sweeps Sgt. Jason Castro, a ground support equipment mechanic from VMFA-115, while performing a counter to the round kick. The technique is part of the green belt class held on the flight line by VMFA-115. To prevent injuring his partner, Crisologo cradles Castro’s head to help ease the impact of the sweep as Castro uses his arms to break his fall.

Today's a holiday in the US, Presidents Day. So no new hi-res pics from the US DoD..here's a few from other sources.
