A US Military Funeral is full of dignity & decorum, although with sadness for the family and comrades-in-arms. The British Armed Forces & their Veterans also accord similar solemn ceremonies. There may be a few other countries that accord this honor to their dead comrades, but we do not hear of them. My personal view is honor should always be given to those who have served loyally to their respective countries and Armed Services. BTW, The USN burial at sea is moving and praiseworthy.

Great photos of the US Marines. I salute them and believe they are hardened professionals with excellent track records during wars and conflicts in any terrain. They are always well trained and with a strong tradition. It's the same with the British Royal Marines. We will always need the Marines for special operations (Land, Sea & Air), and they and their supportive families must be remembered for the sacrifices they make.
