Still using those MILES gear. IMO those things are bulky and gets in the way with your LCE (Load Carrying Equipment) when they get tangled up.

Miles is still the best option when compared too marker pellets that have short range. I am hoping the next upgrade too the system will relegate the current harness for use only by Non US and Non Combatant, Non Front line Players Well integrating new technology like

That's true, but people still cheats and sometime the "refs" are unfair to send out a signal thereby a sound went off in the MILES gear to indicate that soldier is "it". That BS happens to me once during an FTX (Field Training Exercises) in Ft. Hood, TX.

There will always be some guys who think they have a loop hole and there will always be some disparity. War is not Fair.
But still when compared too the real deal something like 99% of those who go in too miles war games get too walk out alive. Real combat has a much lower rate of survival.

True it's whole purpose of the exercise is to provide more unit cohesion and making sure every soldier understands the importance of their roles and to practice the many obstacles and unexpected events in the unit (RTO man getting "killed" and make sure to have back ups) during action on the objectives. I prefer live fire exercises. It let the soldiers feel and used their senses in depth with live ammo than say using blanks.
