Scaled Composites Proteus with an e/o sensor package, and the supposed RQ-180 for comparison.

I was listening to an episode of the Mitchell Institute podcast episode from three days earlier and learned the United States Air Force only has 49 fighter squadrons left if the A-10 squadrons retire or is not part of the count. (48:40 Mark)

Obviously this does not include the United States Navy or their National Guard squadrons that are equally deployable, but wow that is really not much higher than what India has aimed to have with roughly 42.5 fighter squadrons requested by their government.
It really shows how much airframe retirement has occurred without replacement since the end of the Cold War for just about every major air power barring China and with some respects also Pakistan.

I think the articles you're posting in the last day or so are reasonable, but for the sake of consistency (as we've asked other users in the past), I'd ask that you post some of your own commentary/opinions with these articles especially they're from English language outlets.
