Where do the CCAs come from? Inside the B-21? Just dump them in the sea after use? Because if they come from a land base then what's the point of using a B-21? Either a smaller aircraft can use the same bases as the CCA or such bases are indefensible in which case Raider is coming on its own.
CCA coming from ground bases with something like mq-25 tankers. All these loyal wingman project are pulling straw in force projection scenario and long range strikes. The same with using F-35.

Using CCA and B-21 stealth/loitering capability to replace NGAD is clearly looking like a patch work anyway... but I cannot see B-21 doing anything else in AA role than guiding a force that will meet the enemy.

If they want to use B-21 like a HQ/flying turret, a crew in a B-21 will have way better loitering time capability than in a short legged fighter. The B-2 for example has a bed, a toilet, and a microwave aboard that help for long mission, don't know about B-21 tho. Yes you can refuel a light fighter but without any means to ease yourself, you cannot scratch a heavy system loitering time.

Great free article on Aviation Week about the fact that the B-21 appears to becoming cheaper. Major achievement for Northrop if they can can continue to execute on this. Speculation on not only more aircraft purchased, but an increased yearly production rate!

As early cost estimates turn into real prices, a rare phenomenon for a defense acquisition program is becoming clear: The Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider is becoming less expensive.

And now Northrop executives hope to cash in—not by raising prices, necessarily, although future lots within the five-year window for low-rate initial production remain open for negotiation. Instead, Northrop’s hoped-for reward would be a considerable boost to the Air Force’s deliberately slow production ramp-up, adding potentially dozens of jets to the last three years of the low-rate initial production (LRIP) phase.

The Defense Department’s deflator formula adjusts that target average procurement unit cost for each aircraft in 2024 dollars to $730 million.

If that number has not changed, then the Air Force now plans to spend an inflation-adjusted amount of $668 million for the first 21 Raiders instead of $733 million. And the $668 million figure likely includes additional costs such as an initial spares package.

The US is planning on building a $435 facility to restart (1986) TNT production in country. Very important as TNT is a castable energetic material. Not certain when production is expected to begin.

With all the chemical plants catching fire it the past few years, I would not live near TNT production facilities in the US.

People don't know much about the new Secretary of Defense that Trump has chosen. Let's give a brief introduction in quotes from this creature:

- Russia is a gas station with missiles, Putin is a monster, and Ukrainians should be given all the missiles they want

- Iran should be bombed back to the Stone Age

- Israel is a holy place for which Americans should fight as for themselves.

It wrote a book, here's the cover of it. Video about Russia and Iran and quotes from the book in comments
